Although it does seem extreme, if the dog was "growling" and "Charging" as the oficer reported, can we blame him? Would we think differently if it was a car full of drug dealers with their non aggressive family pet ( a pit bull)and this dog got shot?
I wasn't there, so I can't say if the offecer acted incorrectly or not. But if he did; I hope some sort of justice/lawsuit is applied to the officer involved- if he is allowed to weasel out then it will only add to my shakey confidence in the gestapo polize.
