This is disgusting. I understand the officers were paranoid about their own lives, but they could have used just a tiny little bit of common sense.

A simple search of the internet on Cookeville TN Police Department turns up article after article of officers holding guns to each other's heads, cover-ups, harrassment of female officers by other officers, and officers actually shooting each other! It is not really very surprising that one of them is STUPID enough shoot an innocent dog.

Sounds to me like the whole Cookeville Police Department should be shut down and everyone in it fired, then replaced with some law enforcment officials who have some brains!

I am DARN glad I don't live anywhere near Cookeville, or Nashville TN.
