   A.  Report of Standing Committees
      1.  Planning Committee
         a.  Recommends approval of a Resolution Authorizing 
             the joint efforts of the cities of Cookeville,
             Algood, Baxter, Monterey and the County of 
             Putnam to apply for the Governor's Three Star 
             Award.

      2.  Fiscal Review Committee
         a.  Recommends approval of a Resolution authorizing
             Kim Blaylock, County Executive to apply for a 
             Litter and Trash Collection Grant from the 
             Tennessee Department of Transportation.

         b.  Recommends approval to hire an additional 
             employee to help handle Putnam County's
             growing computer needs.

         c.  Recommends approval for Sheriff David Andrews to
             sell or properly dispose of the surplus 
             uniforms that his department no longer uses.

         d.  Recommends approval of Captial Outlay Note
             Resolution for Putnam County Fiscal Year 2002-
             2003 Capital Projects in an amount not to 
             exceed $614,000.

         e.  Recommends approval of budget ammendments to the
             Solid Waste Sanitation Fund in the amount of 
             $7,000.

         f.  Recommends approval of budget ammendments to the
             County General Fund in the amount of $249,317.

         g.  Recommends approval of budget ammendments to the
             Road Department Fund in the amount of $50,000.

         h.  Recommends approval of budget ammendments to the
             General Purpose School Fund in the amount of 
             $18,386.

         i.  Recommends approval of the proposal of Randy 
             Robbins with N2 the Net to develop a website 
             for Putnam County.

      3.  Nominating Committee
         a.  Recommends that the following be reappointed to
             the Board of Health for four (4) year terms to 
             expire April 2007:

             Clarence Smith, Pharmacist  Tracy Epps, R.N.
             Bob Brooksbank, D.D.S.      Karl Klein, M.D.
             Fred Vossel, M.D.
